Visitors to the nursery at Christ Church Winnetka spend their Sundays under the watchful eye of the elephants, lions and giraffes from Noah’s ark — thanks to Charlie Forbes, of Winnetka Boy Scout Troop 18. Forbes, a junior at New Trier High School and Boy Scout of seven years, renovated the nursery this summer as a service project in pursuit of the Eagle Scout rank, the highest rank achievable as a Boy Scout.
