Even under the gray skies of early April, the new Sunset Ridge School is a sight to behold. 

It boasts a large, airy gym, a roof lined with solar panels, and a “living wall” of plants, among other dazzling features.

The new building is progressive in almost every sense — and for its community, that’s a good thing. Even when progress is welcomed, however, it may come at a cost.
