New Trier alum Gray travels world playing, studying cello

For New Trier graduate Johannes Gray, it was love at first listen. 

“My whole family plays music. I was always surrounded by music,” said Gray, 22, a Wilmette native. “My mom would always play CDs for me and the ones that I asked to listen to again and again featured the cello.”
