The Village of Winnetka rolled out its first round of stormwater utility bills, accompanied by the start of the credit and appeal process in early July.

Residents can expect to see the new bill during this month depending on which neighborhood they reside in. The Village will be sending the bill out in waves.

The utility fee paid by residents, business owners and institutional property owners will repay $34.5 million in bond issuance. The rest of the project, which has a total estimated cost of $41.2 million, is funded by Village reserves.
