John Oelerich was 7 years old when he saw his first Cubs game at Wrigley Field. Throughout the formative years that followed, he figures he and his Winnetka buddies took the Old Green Bay el to hundreds of Cubs games, where he developed a lifelong passion for the game, most often from the comfort of a 50-cent bleacher seat.
