The message is “Hunger is unacceptable in our community,” and the men, women and children who came to the third annual Pantry Palooza in the Metra station’s parking lot in downtown Glenview from 5:30-10:30 p.m. Saturday, June 29, got the message.

Proceeds from the third annual music fest that immediately followed Glenview Summerfest went to the Northfield Township Food Pantry that provides assistance to more than 560 households in Northfield, Glenview and Northbrook.
