From a young age, Nicolas Boury had a growing desire to protect the environment and build a better world through science. 

Two-and-a-half years into his job with the Peace Corps, the 27-year-old Glencoe native has done just that — bringing solar light and the hope of a cleaner, more sustainable future to a tiny impoverished community in rural Panama.
