Last month, the Northfield Village Board unanimously rejected a 44-unit assisted living and memory care facility at 1622 Willow Road. But an attorney representing the project’s petitioner came to the board’s Jan. 15 meeting to request that the matter be reconsidered.

Ultimately, the board turned down the request. Bridget O’Keefe, attorney at Daspin and Aument, requested the matter be reopened for two to three months and come before the board again after re-engaging with the community.
