Learning about history is often done by reading a text book, but for Saints Faith, Hope and Charity students May 6, history was demonstrated right in font of their eyes.
The fifth- through eighth-graders were treated to a day of Civil War reenactors, presenting them with different facets of the time period between 1861-1865.
“It’s a great connection to what we are learning in the classroom,” teacher Michael Jerger said. “It brings it to life.”
