Winnetka youngsters who can’t wait to go to high school got a taste of it at this year’s Annual Sender School Art Exhibit at New Trier’s Brierly Gallery.

Colorful paintings, clay statues, glittered masks, charcoal portraits and pencil drawings covered the gray walls from April 16-May 2 at the Winnetka Campus, 385 Winnetka Ave.

Nearly 100 pieces of the artwork were sent from five of the high school’s feeder schools in Winnetka, Wilmette and Kenilworth.
