Fifth- and seventh-graders at the School of Saints Faith, Hope and Charity were chosen as finalists to compete in an Invention Convention for 3-D Design & Engineering at Leap Innovations in Chicago’s Merchandise Mart.

Students had to present their designs using Google Slides and describe the science behind their design, the engineering and the problems the design solved. They also had to come up with a unique design that has never been invented.
