This has been Saints, Faith Hope and Charity Schools’ motto this school year and it rang true this Lenten season.

As its service project to wrap up the liturgical season before Easter, the school donated 120-plus sack breakfasts to the Connections for the Homeless shelter in Evanston.

“To expose our students to others with more challenges we find beneficial for them,” said teacher Ann Syvertsen, who helped lead the project.

To ensure the project was truly a school-wide effort, each classroom took on a different role.
