The Winnetka Public Schools Foundation expects to make nearly 1,000 phone calls Sunday-Monday, Feb. 8-9, as part of the organization’s largest fundraiser.

The fundraiser, dubbed the annual Phone-a-thon, asks District 37 families by phone for donations to help fund the grants that WPSF provides to the Winnetka schools. There are four shifts between 4-8 p.m. each day where 20 volunteers will pick up their phones and make the calls from donated spaces, like Coldwell Banker and the Winnetka Community House.
