It's important for a team to finish the nonconference portion of its schedule on a high note, something that helps give it confidence going into conference play.


Coming off of a win against Fremd on Sept. 7, New Trier was looking to do just that and win its second straight against a Mid-Suburban League squad. The Trevians walked out of Friday, Sept. 14's road game against Palatine with a 37-25 win.
